Giclee Prints

With giclée printing, we are able to provide artists with quality AND affordability.

High definition Canon ChromaLife100+ inks on thick, archival paper make giving and selling art accessible and easy. Every job is a custom job for us, but here’s the basic run-down:

  1. Pick your paper
  2. Choose your sizes
  3. Send your file(s)
  4. We print, trim, and ship to you

Paper Types

Paper choice affects color saturation and brightness, as well as how the light reflects off the surface. We provide four options to cover most media. If you are running a tight budget and don’t want to commit to a run of prints without being sure, contact us about our sample print packs!

Sizing

Sizing is based on a 11″x17″ page, halved and quartered to 8″x10″ and 5″x7″. These are standard sizes we use for our personal prints, based on easy framing options. This also helps us determine pricing and minimums quickly for you. We can accommodate any size up to 13″x19″, and will price each job on a custom basis.

Pricing & Minimums

Minimums can be tough for individual artists. Our goal is to keep it as low as we can to balance efficiency for us and affordability for you. Currently our minimum for giclée printing is $30. For reference based on our sizing, this equals either three 11″x17″ prints, or six 8″x10″ prints, or twelve 5″x7″ prints. This includes up to three different images, and you can mix/match sizing to work for your needs.

Not-So-Fine Print

To ensure a quick turn-around and quality product, make sure you provide a high resolution scan of your image, and check email for timely response. Our goal is a reply within 24 hrs. Your image needs to be at least 300-350dpi at the largest size desired, in CMYK format. Our goal is to try and get as close to (90-95%) what you see on your screen. All screens are a little different, and each type of paper absorbs ink and shows it with subtle differences, so keep these variables in mind. Don’t forget about our custom sample print pack if you’re needing a bit of testing before committing to a full run of prints!

We are also a small family business, so we keep our open-jobs list limited. We want to ensure that each job we print is done individually with care, and we also want to ride bikes and play with our kids while they still think we’re cool. If we’re at capacity and unable to accept new jobs, we will promptly let you know and include any referrals we can until we can work you into the mix!
